When Our World Falls Apart

On January 1 of this year, my world as I’ve known it…stopped. All is well, all will always be well. I love the saying “In the end, all is well…and if all is not well, it is not the end!” I am blessed. Without going into details, let’s just say we had to re-organize…everything. Our thoughts, our home, our priorities, all of it had to be re-designed. Everything had to be re-designed to fit our new paradigm. This paradigm shift was so drastic and impactful that EVERYTHING I have studied, learned and meditated on came into play in a HUGE way. I was shaken to my core.  After my morning meditations, I was back on track for the day’s activities, thank goodness. I thought I had “it” handled. I thought my life’s studies and business journey were on track…and they were. But what I found was that when life throws a curve ball, all the thinking is just that…a thought; a thought about who we are, what we are, our values, our emotions…all of it is simply a thought or a perception about AN ILLUSION. The illusion of thinking we are actually in control of a personality, a human being having a human experience..that that is really who we are. Everything we think about our lives, in a moment is shattered and all of our ideas about who we are become a BIG question. We can forget…we can forget who we are. We forget that we are actually energy, pure Source Energy having a human experience. We forget that and when we remember who we are, when we connect to our Center, we smile…we are at...

How To Energize Your Mind and Body

Have you ever noticed how our emotions can influence our bodies, and our bodies can influence our emotions? When we are faced with life’s challenges, our minds and our bodies feel the stress equally. What I have found is that the way to get through these difficult times is to adjust our sense of balance. Literally. We can’t avoid the daily ups and downs in life. They’re a part of our human experience. These experiences are actually gifts that point us in a direction of a new center of being, which in turn points us to the fulfillment of our successful selves! Find your center. Balance yourself and allow your mind and body to work harmoniously together. Let your experiences, “good” or “bad”, guide you to your centered, balanced self, where your mind and body naturally want you to be. This place, this state of being, is the place where you can experience a truly successful life! As you know, the mind is naturally connected to the body through our brains. The mind and the body are partners working together to create harmony within. Once we trust our bodies to give us the signals, the directions for decisions in life, we can know that the foundation for success has been laid. Our bodies have 2 important needs to work at their best on our behalf. The first is balance, the second is bio-rhythms. Balance is a flexible state of being. This balance allows us to have the energy to respond to any situation our bodies require in that moment, then to return to our natural, resting and balanced state. The mind, along with...

7 Things You May Not Know About Me

7 Things You May Not Know About Me… that I was challenged to divulge! I’m in a community of awesome people. Period. We are getting to know each other like this. We talk to each other through our Facebook Page. It’s a private community, but we are so engaged in becoming our awesome selves with the encouragement from our peers in the community. It is a business community with the intention of improving our businesses and relationships within the business. Super cool. So one of my colleagues challenged me to tell 7 things about myself that they may not know. Here it is, hope you...

It’s A Small World After All

I just love going to the movies. It’s an activity that gets us out of our daily lives. We go into another world. A world where there is another experience to be had. We can many times, if the movie is really good, relate to and feel what the actors are feeling. We can be, for just those 2 hours, in another time, in the future or the past. We can spend time in another country, another planet, on the beach, in a park, or just in someone’s or something’s home! After a big sports event, we many times hear the interviewer asking a player “what are you doing after the game?” To which the player responds, “Going to Disneyland!” They’re going to leave the world of sports and go into the world of Disney! It’s a fantasy-land playground to escape from the daily world we live in. We get to experience “Mr Toads Wild Ride”, or go in the future on “Magic Mountain”, or even go into all the countries on earth to hear children singing “It’s a Small World”! Sometimes it’s a very good thing to leave a task we’re stuck on. There are times when we’ve worked ourselves to the bone on a project, but can’t complete it because there is a challenge that we don’t seem to be able to figure out. In these moments it’s a great idea to get away. In the music business, when recording a project, we call it getting out so we can come back with “fresh ears”. It means we have to go do something completely different for a...

Do You Feel Overwhelmed??

Sometimes, life can be…well, a hoot. Sort of. You want to get things done. You have tasks that HAVE to get done. Then there are those things that you just really want to get to, but other things keep getting in the way!! What to do? Laugh, relax and be in the moment! One thing’s for certain, 2 things for sure…we only have this moment. What we choose to do with it and how we choose to feel in it are 100% in our control. The moment before and the moment to come are figments of our imaginations. They are dust. And remember…laughing is key!...

Time With Family

Our time here is so precious. We just had a wonderful evening celebrating our son’s birthday. I so love the moments I get to spend with my adult children. The word I constantly have in my thoughts is GRATITUDE. My sincere hope is that you enjoy every minute of this precious life, every minute with those you love, and that you cherish and appreciate all you have. With love,...
