How To Meditate and Gain Personal Power

Dani

My personal mission in life is to help change as many lives as I can over the next several years in the most positive ways by adding value and inspiration for living life to the absolute fullest.

A Bit About Me

To say I’m passionate is an understatement. I’m passionate about my family, about health, which includes eating well and working out in the gym 5-6 days/week. I’m passionate about working and playing with impeccability. I’ve meditated most of my life and am so grateful for my awesome life. I LOVE cars, (old cars especially), horses, scuba diving, wine, and spending as much time as possible in the sun (shaded of course 😉 ) on the ocean! Travelling is a must! The point is… In the coming days/weeks/months I’ll be posting daily to share what I’ve learned and what I am constantly learning about ways to improve our lives physically, emotionally, and financially. My goal is to add value, to inspire, encourage, teach and most of all to give you the tools and training using the internet as a medium to acquire the time and freedom to live the happy and passionate life you deserve. Thanks so much for stopping by. Be sure to check in again for updates coming up!

Reach For Your Dreams

Inspiration doesn’t interrupt you; it’s something that has to be pursued. We all must feed our minds and make conscious choices about how we direct our thoughts, energy, and focus; otherwise, the demands, negativity and inevitable distractions of the day will take over.

To do this effectively, we need a system—a daily ritual that will ensure we’re taking control of our focus, learning new tools and proven strategies to make a difference, and taking action to create momentum and produce results.

Social Media Branding

The new world of marketing is increasingly visual. It’s no coincidence that the newest and fastest-growing social networks on the web — like Pinterest, Instagram, and Snapchat — are focused primarily on visual content.

So, how can marketers adapt to and leverage an increasingly visual social atmosphere? Byimplementing a strong visual branding strategy on social media.

Visual social branding refers to what your social media content looks like — your profile picture, your cover photo, and especially your social posts. Great visuals on social media are important because the human brain is wired to read and understand images better and faster than words. Plus, visual content increases social engagement: Did you know that, according to a study by Socialbakers, images on Facebook constitute 93% of the most engaging posts compared with status updates, links, and even video?

Working From Home Entrepreneur

More and more entrepreneurs are working remotely. They may have an “office” at home, in a co-working space or even at the nearest coffee shop. Fortunately, technology has allowed everyone — even entrepreneurs who commute to a traditional office every day — to benefit from the flexibility of working from home when it’s needed or preferred.

Anyone who works from home will tell you that it has its benefits, yet also challenges. When I started my business in 1998, social media did not exist, I had no clients and most of my friends worked in a traditional office setting.

After working for a large hotel for nearly six years, I had grown accustomed to being surrounded by people each day. Working from home provided peace and solitude, yet I was lonely.

I had no one to interact with except my yellow Labrador. No humans were around for sharing ideas. I worked long hours, many in my pajamas. No one was there to hold me accountable for my work and I had to force myself to rise at a reasonable hour each morning and develop self-discipline.

Personal Power and Mediation

Power is the active force in life. It is the force that makes awareness. The general term for spiritual power is kundalini.

You can gain power by avoiding certain things. You can gain power by doing certain things. You can gain much more power by meditating. In meditation we make our minds quiet by learning to focus on the chakras to release the kundalini and bring ourselves into higher states of consciousness.

To develop personal power, it is recommended that you spend some time in your meditative practice focusing on the third chakra, the navel center.

You can measure your level of power by your ability to stop thought. The longer you can stop thought, the more powerful you are.
